Adelphi is seeking Medical Assistants to provide services at a correctional facility in Tallahassee Florida. The ideal candidates will provide services to inmates at the facility while ensuring compliance with legal ethical and institutional standards.

Requirements:
Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
Current licensure as a Medical Assistant in the State of Florida
CPR/AED certification.
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant.
Responsibilities:
Assist physicians and mid-level practitioners in clinical tasks.
Perform venipuncture and urinalysis.
Adhere to infection control procedures and operate medical equipment like EKG machines.
Provide basic first aid and triage.
Maintain medical records and supplies.
Perform duties within the scope of the current licensure.
Any other duties assigned.
