The Business Administrator provides a superior member experience by greeting members responding to inquiries and promoting the products and services of the credit union with a focus on account documentation structure and operations working in close contact with the Business Lending team.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Greet members and potential members responding to inquiries on basic credit union products and services.
Responsible for member problems and resolutions wherever possible referring more complex issues to the appropriate person or department.
Process daily business banking transactions and administrative tasks
Refer members in person or via telephone to appropriate staff members and departments as necessary.
Responsible for opening and maintaining business memberships and accounts setting up online banking and troubleshooting
Prepare bank confirmations
Administer and process term deposits
Solicitnew members and foster business development through service excellence product knowledge and teamwork.
Provideadministrative support and assistance to theBusiness Loandepartment.
Process all required reports and documentation efficiently and accurately ensuring deadlines are met.
Operates as contact for members and branch staff managing the relationships on behalf of the credit union to ensure the members needs are met and the relationship remains profitable
Maintainopen communication and cooperation with other staff toensure a friendlyand efficient work environment.
Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve organizational and department objectives.
Maintain thorough knowledge ofand adhere tocredit union policies and procedures on risk management confidentialitysecurity and fraud prevention.

Essential Qualifications
Grade 12 diplomaor equivalent
Business Administration or other post-secondary education would be considered an asset
Previouscustomer service experience
Demonstrated desire to serve others in a friendly and professional manner
Abilitytoidentify and willingness to act upon sales and service opportunities
Strong interpersonal andcommunication skills both verbal and written
Attention to detailwith high degree ofaccuracy
Ability to work in fast-paced environment and perform well under pressure
Ability to prioritize using sound judgment to make timely and effective decisions
Knowledge of Access Credit Unions products and services
Abilityto follow standardized policies and procedures
Knowledge of risk management within the financial industry
Proficient computer skills
