Description


Position Summary:


We are looking for a skilled Document Control Professional to join our team. This position will be responsible for maintenance and administration of a variety of the Electronic Document Libraries of manuals instructions and reference documents to support the mission of the team. This is a hybrid position requiring on-site work with the opportunity for some telework.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with document owners to ensure configuration management through document change processes.
  • Review and edit documents to ensure quality and compliance with applicable standards.
  • Lead and participate in projects to improve document control processes and make documents more accessible for increased efficiency and improved user experience.
Requirements


Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university.
  • 0 to 5 years of relevant experience.


Desired Qualifications:


  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Word Outlook etc.)
  • Proficient in Adobe Acrobat Professional Bluebeam Revu or similar PDF editing software
  • Strong PC skills and experience with a variety of publication software and markup languages desired including XML SGML MS Word and PDF.
  • Proficient in Microsoft SharePoint
  • Strong communication skills with the aptitude to communicate effectively to the team and external stakeholders
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience working in a team environment


Security Clearance:


The ability to obtain and maintain a DOE L Security Clearance is required.


Background Check and Screenings:


A pre-employment drug screening and background review that includes checks of personal references credit law enforcement records and employment/education verification is required.
