Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Data Platform Engineer to join our team on a 24-months contract basis where you will be instrumental in building and optimizing our data infrastructure in cloud. This is a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and collaborate across teams to deliver scalable secure and high-performance data solutions.

Job Responsibilities

Design and implement robust data architectures pipelines and ETL processes.
Build and maintain cloud-native data platforms and dashboards to support analytics and reporting needs.
Ensure high standards of data quality reliability and availability across all systems.
Develop and manage Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment and operations.
Partner with business units data scientists and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
Optimize data storage and retrieval for performance and cost-efficiency.
Provide Level 3 support for in-house applications and data platform/warehouse operations.

Job Requirements

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or a related discipline.
3-5 years of experience in data engineering or similar roles.
Proven expertise in building and managing data platforms on cloud environments.
Strong programming skills in SQL Python and other relevant languages.
Hands-on experience with cloud services such as BigQuery Dataflow Kafka and Pub/Sub is highly advantageous.
Experience with IaC tools and CI/CD practices.
Familiarity with API development using Apigee integration with Drupal-based developer portals and monetization models is a strong plus.
Solid understanding of data modeling ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
