Reporting directly to theAssociateGeneral Counsel this position will provide clear practical legal counsel on a wide range ofbusinessand higher education matters with primary responsibility fordrafting and negotiating a variety of contracts student mattersemployment mattersand advancement/ addition the position will advise on employment lawand candidates will bring strong business judgment and creativity to the Office of Legal Affairs.

Licensed to practice law or able to become licensed in the State of Georgia within one year of employment
Experience drafting and negotiatinga variety of commercial contracts including vendor agreements
Ability to think critically and make clear well-reasonedandtimelydecisions
Strong pragmatic business acumen with the ability to recognize the broader consequences of legal advice
Strategic and innovative thinker who can bring value to clients and find creative and practical solutions to complex problems
