As a Business Analyst you will play a crucial role in collecting processing and analyzing data to support informed business decisions for our clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting cleaning analyzing large datasets using statistical methods to identify patterns and trends then presenting actionable insights through data visualizations and reports to inform business decisions; key skills include proficiency in SQL data manipulation tools like Python or R strong critical thinking and effective communication to convey findings to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Data gathering:

Collecting data from various sources like databases APIs and applications.
Data cleaning and preparation: Identifying and correcting errors handling missing values formatting data for analysis.
Exploratory data analysis (EDA): Analyzing data to understand patterns and relationships through descriptive statistics visualizations and outlier detection.
Statistical analysis: Applying statistical techniques to test hypotheses and draw meaningful conclusions from data.
Data visualization: Creating clear and compelling charts graphs and dashboards to present findings to stakeholders.
Reporting: Generating comprehensive reports with key insights and recommendations based on analysis.
Collaboration: Working with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and identify relevant data for analysis.

We are seeking a Business Analytics & Insights Provider to support a leading Retail client by delivering actionable business insights and advanced analytics. This role will work directly with the clients senior leadership providing datadriven recommendations that influence strategic and operational decisions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical capability advanced reporting expertise and high standards of professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analytics & Insights
Act as a trusted analytics partner to client senior leadership by delivering meaningful insights and recommendations.
Translate complex business requirements into structured analytical approaches and measurable outcomes.
Analyse retail performance data to identify trends risks and opportunities.
Data Extraction & Reporting
Design develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI Tableau and Excel.
Perform complex data extraction transformation and validation from multiple data sources.
Automate reporting processes using scripting and Python where applicable.
Dashboarding & Visualisation
Create executivelevel dashboards with a clear business narrative and visual storytelling.
Ensure dashboards are accurate consistent and aligned with agreed KPIs and metrics.
Maintain high data quality governance and documentation standards.
Stakeholder & Client Engagement
Work closely with client senior stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver timely insights.
Present insights in a clear concise and professional manner suitable for leadership consumption.
Demonstrate strong ownership and accountability for deliverables.
Technical Skills & Tools
Mandatory Skills
Advanced knowledge of Google ecosystem (Google Sheets Google Data Studio / Looker BigQuery exposure preferred).
Strong expertise in Power BI and Tableau for dashboard creation and reporting.
Advanced Excel skills including:
- Complex formulas
- Pivot tables
- Data modelling
- Power Query
- Data extraction and validation
Handson experience with Python for data analysis and automation.
Working knowledge of scripting for process optimisation and data handling.
Preferred Skills
Exposure to retail analytics and performance metrics.
Experience working with large datasets and multiple data sources.
Understanding of data privacy and compliance standards.
Communication & Professional Skills
B2level English communication proficiency (spoken and written).
Ability to communicate insights confidently to senior leadership.
Strong time management and prioritisation skills especially for Excelbased deliverables.
High level of professionalism integrity and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently while collaborating within crossfunctional teams.
Educational Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Analytics Mathematics Statistics Engineering Business or a related field.
Relevant analytics or BI certifications will be an added advantage.
Experience Required
Minimum 5 of relevant experience in Business Analytics BI or Insights roles.
Prior experience working with international clients (US/UK) is preferred.
Proven experience engaging with senior stakeholders.
