Job Summary

As a QA-QC Inspector your primary responsibility is to inspect test and evaluate various components equipment and processes to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards. The role of a Quality Inspector is pivotal in upholding quality safety and regulatory compliance throughout the organizations operations. With attention to detail technical expertise and a commitment to excellence you contribute to the overall success and reputation FLINT within industry.

What would you be doing 

  • Conduct thorough inspections of flanged and welded connections.
  • Coordinate NDE PWHT and pressure testing activities of multiple job scopes simultaneously as outlined on the Inspection and Test Plan.
  • Ensure compliance with Client Specifications ASME and CSA code requirements.
  • Maintain quality documentation according to established procedures.
  • Coordinate with team members on daily functional QC duties.

Qualifications :

  • CSA W178.2 Level 2 with applicable endorsements and a valid eye exam.

  • Hands-on experience with torquing welding and pressure testing with strong knowledge of ASME and CSA codes.

  • Minimum 5 years experience in construction and oil & gas turnaround environments.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Bluebeam with strong attention to detail and communication skills.

  • Physically capable of performing demanding work including lifting up to 50 lbs and working in industrial environments

This position has been identified as a safety-sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.
