Completing all necessary paperwork and phone calls.
Ensuring all trucks and equipment are in good operating condition.
Understand customers needs service those needs and maintain and develop positive business relationships with customers.
Coordinating and scheduling employee resources.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws.
Interviewing hiring and training employees; planning assigning and directing work.
Duties also include performing performance appraisals rewarding and disciplining employees and addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Support enforce and model all health safety & environmental rules policies procedures and government regulatory standards.

Qualifications :
Must have Class 1/AZ drivers licence with two years of experience
Experience in a managerial/supervisory roll
Dock/freight handling experience
Must be physically fit
Excellent written and oral communication
Strong customer service skills and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and planning skills
Superior time management and attention to detail
Ability to supervise and manage several tasks and/or employees at once to achieve organizational objectives
Computer literate; working knowledge of Microsoft suite and email.
Financial Literacy ability to complete cost analysis/cost reduction
Highly developed problem solving and decision making skills
