Job Summary
Were looking for a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our team in Manasquan United States. As a Delivery Driver youll play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate deliveries while providing excellent customer service.
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport packages and goods to designated locations
- Load and unload packages efficiently ensuring proper handling of items
- Plan and optimize delivery routes for maximum efficiency
- Use navigation tools and apps to locate delivery addresses
- Interact professionally with customers during deliveries and address any concerns
- Collect payments and signatures when required
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries mileage and vehicle maintenance
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues promptly
- Assist with inventory management and stock organization as needed
Qualifications :
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous delivery or driving experience preferred
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Proficiency in using navigation tools and basic smartphone applications
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Physical stamina and ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 pounds
- Basic math skills for handling payments and calculating change
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Commercial Drivers License (CDL) may be preferred
- Familiarity with the Manasquan area and surrounding regions is a plus
