CAREER AND ALUMNI ENGAGEMENT SECTION
Manager ()
The Career and Alumni Engagement Sectionsupports the career development of both the undergraduate and postgraduate business students and drives alumni engagement at the School of Business. We are seeking a dynamic team leader to manage a team of four in delivering quality career services and engagement programs.
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Assistant Dean (Outreach and Engagement) the Manager will:
- Lead the team in developing strategies to enhance students employability develop career branding and build partnerships with employers and alumni;
- Oversee the planning and execution of all career development programs employer engagement activities and alumni events (Occasional evening and weekend work is required);
- Monitor employment trends and developments in Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area to inform program planning;
- Research and integrate e-learning resources and digital platforms to enhance career services delivery;
- Design and analyse graduate employment surveys to provide insights that support the Schools strategic planning;
- Supervise team members and manage daily operations including budget monitoring and administrative coordination; and
- Undertake other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- A bachelors degree with at least 7 years of relevant experience in career services talent acquisition or headhunting;
- Good knowledge of job markets in Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area;
- Strong leadership problem-solving and multi-tasking skills to manage competing priorities;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
- Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese including Putonghua; and
- Experience with digital tools and AI applications is an advantage.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test.
The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of two years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement.
Salary andrankwill be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
