We are seeking an Intermediate to Senior Leisure Travel Consultant for a permanent role based in Durban KZN

Duties & Responsibilities

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:

Ideal for qualifying candidates with travel experience who have travelled themselves.
The client deals worldwide so international product knowledge is very welcome.
Travel & Tourism certificate
Amadeus or GDS knowledge and an understanding of airfare rules
Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
3-5 years travel industry experience in a retail or tour operator environment is essential with a proven record of reaching sales targets
Practical experience with compiling travel packages and creating costings
MS Office experience
Good geographical knowledge
Thorough knowledge of the reservation process from input to output (end to end)
Experience with reading and interpreting contracts
Accurate detail orientated and compulsive about taking care of small things
Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
