We would like to offer our internal workforce the opportunity to express their interest in becoming a First Aider at our current Parramatta office (1PSQ) with the role transitioning to the new 6PSQ location in March 2026.
This is a part time 36-month / 3 year termopportunity where you will perform additional duties in conjunction with your existing role. Employees engaged under the WaterNSW EA will be eligible for a nominatedFirst Aid and Fire Warden Allowanceas per the agreement commencing the pay fortnight after training completion.
Note:You must be able to cover a minimum of 2x days per week at our current Parramatta office 1PSQ and in our new office at 6PSQ.
The Role:
Hold and maintain a current Apply First Aid statement of attainment renew or refresh this training every 3 years and CPR every 12 months. If you do not currently hold a First Aid certification WaterNSW will provide the necessary training and cover the cost.
Provide first aid response in accordance with completed training and qualifications.
Take responsibility for the provision of first aid and management of medical related incidents at the nominated site when on-site or second on scene.
Provide advice triage and support to other first aid responders.
Undertake workplace risk assessments to determine first aid requirements as needed.
Undertake periodic inspections of first aid kits rooms and other equipment as needed at the nominated site.
What we are looking for:
Mandatory: Being located at the specific site with regular attendance working in the office and able to cover a minimum of 2x days per weekin the existing Paramatta office at 1PSQ and in our new office at 6PSQ
Favourable: Previous experience being a fire warden or first aider and/or current or expired qualifications being a fire warden and first aider
