The Opportunity
Were seeking an Infrastructure Migration Lead to direct and deliver the technical workstreams of the Malaysia Cyber Enhancement Program (MUM CEP). This role centres on the migration of four Malaysian Active Directory environments into Monashs centrally managed AD and the coordinated decommissioning of legacy infrastructure and services.
This is a technical leadership role not a project or product management position. Youll partner with an established project manager while owning the engineering direction delivery and implementation strategy.
In this role you will:
Lead the technical migration effort:
Define and drive the endtoend migration strategy for AD consolidation domain restructuring service integration and environment uplift.
Oversee the safe orderly decommissioning of legacy AD domains and associated infrastructure.
Make informed engineering decisions that ensure reliability performance and longterm maintainability.
Lead and Support the Engineering Team
Manage a crossfunctional team of infrastructure engineers contributing to AD Windows Server SOE endpoint and supporting platforms.
Mentor and guide engineers establish technical standards and promote bestpractice implementation.
Collaborate across International Teams
Work closely with Malaysia IT Australian Infrastructure Services and domain specialists to achieve a coherent and secure infrastructure environment.
Act as the senior technical escalation point across AD server infrastructure authentication services and related integrations.
Ensure Operational Excellence
Maintain high-quality documentation operational readiness plans and transitiontosupport processes.
Promote continuous improvement process refinement and opportunities for automation.
Who you are!
You are an Infrastructure Manager or Technical Lead with:
A proactive problemsolver who takes ownership negotiates effectively across teams and drives issues to resolution without needing close supervision
Strong experience in Active Directory Windows Server and enterprise infrastructure services.
A proven ability to lead technical teams and coordinate engineering delivery.
Experience planning and executing complex infrastructure migrations in large environments.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across cultural and technical boundaries.
A commitment to fostering highperforming inclusive and supportive engineering teams.
The role is based in Clayton Victoria but occasional travel to Malaysia will be required.
