Job Summary

Tomlinson is seeking a driven and detailoriented Junior Estimator to join our Estimation this role you will work closely with professional Estimators to support daytoday estimating operations contributing to the preparation organization and coordination of project bids. The ideal candidate is proactive highly organized and eager to learn industryleading estimation tools and processes. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

Review bid sites on a daily basis and put potential projects on a list for theestimation manager andseniorestimators to that fit the profile for bidding will then be added to the bid download all the bid documentation and file them in theestimationSharePoint folder.

Completing all job opening tasks in includes setting up projects in SAPandassistingestimators in pushing cost plans from Hard Dollar into SAP as well asimplementing standardized job openingprocessacross the estimation division.

Collecting all successful bid Contracts and circulating them for internal signatures and then handling them off to Contracts Coordinator to send out for owner signatures and to be tracked in theContractstracking system.

Assistestimators in setting up external subcontracts. Reviewing completeness of subcontracts and transferringtermand conditions to our subcontract forms. Tracking and sending completed packages tothe Contracts Coordinator.

Tracking all bid closures and ensuring the estimators enter all bid results into SharePoint to ensure we trackaccurateand complete estimators in entering the results if needed.

Printing sets of drawings and documents whenrequired.

Learning Estimation Software(Hard Dollar)andassistingonnew bidsas needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

A highproficiencyin Microsoft Word Excel Power-Point and Outlook

A high degree ofproficiencyusing SharePoint

Excellent writing and communication skills

Working knowledge of SAP software an asset

working knowledge ofPlanswiftand/or Bluebeam software an asset

Excellentdocument control and organization skills

Fast learner of new software (Hard Dollar and SAP)

COMPENSATION INFORMATION:

The expected salary range for this position is $60000-$85000. Placement within the range is dependant on a variety of factors including qualifications and experience.
