Our client is seeking a reliable and proactive Caretaker / Site Manager to join a well-regarded secondary school in Bolton supporting the day-to-day running and safety of the school site.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced caretaker or site manager to join a supportive school environment where facilities health & safety and safeguarding are prioritised. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the school site is safe secure and welcoming for students staff and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
Opening and closing the school site
Carrying out regular health & safety checks including fire safety
Basic maintenance repairs and DIY tasks
Grounds maintenance and site presentation
Liaising with contractors and reporting defects
Supporting events lettings and emergency call-outs
Person Specification
Previous experience in a caretaking or site management role
Strong understanding of health & safety procedures
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
Commitment to safeguarding and site security
Eligibility to work in the UK
Salary: Competitive dependent on experience
