The Role & Responsibilities Supporting the Head of English you will deliver high-quality instruction across KS3 and KS4 that allows students to master complex texts and sophisticated rhetoric.
Curriculum Delivery: Teaching English Literature and Language across KS3 and KS4 focusing on analytical essay writing and critical theory.
Mentoring & Growth: Participating in weekly 1:1 sessions with a lead practitioner to refine your pedagogical techniques and subject knowledge.
Resource Collaboration: Accessing a fully centralized bank of high-quality resources allowing you to focus on delivery rather than planning from scratch.
Extracurricular Impact: Leading the schools prestigious Debating Society or student-led literary magazine.
Requirements
Degree: A 2:1 or above in English Literature or a related field.
QTS: Must hold (or be working towards) Qualified Teacher Status.
Right to Work: Must have the valid right to work in the UK.
