Job Summary

At AusWide Bank part of the merged entity of MyState Limited we are searching for a confident Customer Banking Leader to guide the team in our Rockhampton branch.

The Opportunity

As a Customer Banking Team Leader you will lead a frontline banking team to deliver exceptional customer service across branch phone and digital channels. You will coach and develop your team manage performance handle complex customer interactions and ensure strong compliance and risk outcomes.

This is an ideal first leadership role in banking with support development and clear career pathways.

What You Bring

Proven leadership capability with at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role.
Experience in a customer-focused banking or financial services environment.
Sound knowledge of customer banking and lending products including consumer and home lending processes.
Strong communication skills with the ability to lead coach and influence others.
A customer-first mindset with the confidence to manage complaints and complex interactions.
Strong business acumen analytical capability and attention to detail.
A commitment to risk management compliance quality assurance and regulatory obligations.
The ability to manage competing priorities support team performance and drive results in a dynamic environment.
