Job Summary
The role
Youll be joining a large-scale digital platform operating at European scale contributing to backend systems that support high-traffic products and internal SaaS tools.
This is a backend-focused role where youll work with C# and AWS on real production systems. Youll collaborate closely with senior engineers contribute to design and implementation decisions and gradually take on deeper ownership as the platform evolves.
Were looking for engineers who enjoy building reliable backend systems are comfortable working in established codebases and want to grow their impact in a high-scale high-quality engineering environment.

What youll be working on
- Developing and maintaining backend services and APIs used at scale
- Working on C# / AWS backend systems that support:
- high-traffic public-facing platforms
- SaaS tools used by professional users
- Contributing to service design implementation and ongoing improvements
- Supporting production systems by:
- fixing issues
- improving performance and reliability
- learning operational best practices
- Working with the team on:
- CI/CD pipelines
- automated testing
- monitoring and observability
- Collaborating with product and engineering peers across multiple teams

Required
Strong serverside languages: TypeScript/ Java or Scala; Python and PHP also appear in their stack.
Building RESTful APIs / microservices secure and scalable.
Datastores: PostgreSQL MySQL; sometimes Kafka for streaming.
Cloud & containers: AWS Docker Kubernetes (plus CI/CD such as CircleCI).
Good software engineering practices: testing monitoring observability software craftsmanship mindset.
Experience in hightraffic consumerfacing products (millions of users B2C marketplaces).
