About the role

Provide Health and Wellbeing program support to the Section and the Corporation in particular to the Health Surveillance and the Health Promotions program through coordination and planning activities conducting research and analysis assessments OSH and Incident investigations and the development and presentation of health and wellbeing training education and promotional packages.

What you can expect with this role

• Coordinate plan and support health and wellbeing programs such as Health Surveillance and Health Promotions which have been initiated across the Corporation.
• Research external health and wellbeing trends and information and analyse internal health data and statistics to contribute to the development of health and wellbeing improvement strategies for the business.
• Undertake risk assessments on key activities i.e. health related hazards and provide potential solutions to the business to address and manage risk.
• Conduct in-house individual basic health assessments as required.
• Review and analyse injury or illness data information as collated and provide recommendations improvement strategies and key learnings from analysis.
• Participates in audits under supervision and contributes to reports to ensure compliance with Corporate Divisional Business Unit and legislative requirements.

Your skills and experience

For this role we are looking for great talent with:

• Tertiary level qualification in Health Science (preferable) or Occupational Safety and Health or a related discipline and/or experience in an Occupational Safety and Health discipline within a large multi-disciplined commercial or government organisation
• Demonstrated capability of understanding relevant OSH Legislation including Acts Regulations and Codes of Practice.
• Demonstrated prior ability in developing and presenting training presentations and/or programs.
• Demonstrated well developed verbal and written communication skills.
• Good conceptual and analytical skills.
