Job Summary

Status: Full Time Hourly FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt

Summary of Position: Reunification Specialist is to initiate organize plan develop and ensure implementation of direct services to assigned youth and their families. YAPs definition of Family encompasses an array of current and potential caregivers and guardians to include biological family extended family members foster family and fictive kin or kin caregivers who have a significant relationship with the youth. All service plans based on the strength-based approach using the wrap around model.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Social Work Psychology Human Services or similar field (relevant experience may be substituted for degree)
  • At least 1 year of experience working with children adolescents and families in child welfare foster care juvenile justice or community-based support programs.
  • Knowledge of community and community resources
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; Experience using an electronic health record (EHR) system is a plus.
  • Strong communication and organization skills
  • Ability manage caseloads and work flexible hours (may require some evenings and weekends)
  • Position requires reliable transportation valid drivers license and current auto insurance coverage.
  • Bilingual (Spanish Speaking) is a plus.
