Job Summary

Status: Part Time Hourly FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt

Summary of the Position: The St. Louis Program in partnership with the Office of Violence Prevention has a Clinician position available is responsible for implementing and facilitating the clinical components. Join a mission-driven team working to support youth and families impacted by chronic stress and community violence. As Clinician you will play a key role in delivering trauma-informed strengths-based services that help young people build resilience and reclaim hope.

Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:

Facilitate up to two weekly group psychotherapy sessions using the Structured Psychotherapy for Adolescents Responding to Chronic Stress (SPARCS) model.
Provide individual and family psychotherapy to program participants on an asâneeded basis.
Deliver all services with fidelity to the SPARCS curriculum and in alignment with YAP policies as well as state and federal regulations.
Collaborate closely with the Office of Violence Prevention and the YAP team to ensure coordinated highâquality care.

Hourly Rate: $70

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Masters degree in a Human Services field required.
  • Valid licensure as a Mental Health Counselor Martial and Family Therapist or Independent-Level Social Worker preferred.
  • Licensure as a Temporary Mental Health Counselor Temporary Martial and Family Therapist or Masters-Level Social Worker is acceptable with proof of a supervision contract with an approved independent-level supervisor
  • Applicable licensure must be in good standing with licensure board.
  • Experience working with at-risk youth and families
  • Experience facilitating groups
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience using an electronic health record (EHR) system databases are a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Position requires reliable transportation valid drivers license and current auto insurance coverage
  • Bilingual (Spanish Speaking) is a plus.
