Job Summary

MyState Limited are seeking an experienced Insurance Vendor Manager to lead the selection and transition of a new insurance provider across MyState Bank and Auswide Bank for 6 months. The business is a diversified financial services group encompassing MyState Bank Auswide Bank SelfCo and TPT Wealth.

The Opportunity

This is a high-impact 6 month fixed-term role responsible for managing the end-to-end vendor selection process including RFP management commercial and risk assessment executive recommendation and transition execution. A critical focus will be protecting revenue from an existing insurance portfolio while embedding a sustainable operating model that can be managed by the existing Product team.

The role reports to the Head of Product and operates as a senior individual contributor with significant executive exposure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end insurance vendor selection and RFP process
  • Evaluate providers across commercial risk operational and customer outcome criteria
  • Develop and present recommendations and business cases to senior leaders
  • Manage revenue risk associated with an existing insurance customer portfolio
  • Lead the offboarding of the non-selected provider and transition to the new partner
  • Establish operating rhythms governance and performance management frameworks
  • Collaborate with Product Risk Legal Finance Technology and external partners
  • Ensure contractual regulatory and compliance obligations are met

What You Bring

  • 10 years experience in financial services ideally insurance or bancassurance
  • Strong background in vendor management procurement or RFP delivery
  • Proven commercial and analytical capability including revenue and portfolio risk management
  • Experience designing operating models or governance frameworks
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and executives
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including executive-level reporting
