Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable eager-to-learn Calibration Technician I to join our team. This position is ideal for someone with a basic understanding of calibration and instrumentation. The Technician I will support calibration qualification and preventive maintenance (PM) tasks under supervision while adhering to PCI and client-specific policies and procedures. The role involves travel to client sites and requires attention to detail and a commitment to safety and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform calibrations qualifications and PMs with supervision following accurate GxP documentation.
• Conduct basic pressure temperature humidity time and CO2 calibrations.
• Ensure safe handling and maintenance of PCI and client-owned equipment.
• Identify project supply needs and communicate to appropriate resources.
• Provide excellent customer service to develop client relationships.
• Maintain a neat and professional work area and complete timesheets and expense reports accurately.
• Travel to client sites for calibration and maintenance activities as needed.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of calibration concepts test accuracy and safety requirements.
• Ability to perform basic calibration tasks on mechanical and electrical instrumentation.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Reliable self-motivated and a team player.
• Must have a valid drivers license and good driving record.
• Ability to lift moderate to heavy equipment and work in varying environments.

Education & Experience:

• A two-year degree in Engineering Life Sciences or a related technical field or equivalent experience in Metrology Instrumentation Calibration.
