Overview
The Structural Building Team is currently looking for an Intermediate Structural Engineer to support the growth of the office and the team based in Winnipeg.
Your role
- Actively participate in the design and preparation of plans and specifications (steel concrete wood masonry etc.).
- Conduct studies surveys technical reports and structural inspections.
- Supervise the execution of structural work during the construction phase.
- Ensure that the engineering work is produced according to the quality standards of the industry and respect the National Building Code and Manitoba Building Code.
- Coordinate projects that impact your structural design with the other disciplines (mechanical electrical architecture process etc.).
- Maintain and develop client and stakeholder relationships.
About you
- Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Masters Degree in Structural Engineering is an asset.
- Registered as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng) with Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba (EGM).
- 5-10 years of previous related experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong experience with structural design software (ETABS SAP2000 SAFE etc.).
- Excellent organizational communication and problem-solving skills.
- Detail oriented with the ability to manage changing priorities.
