Quality Projects Engineer

To meet the growing demand for our productwere currently seeking a Quality Projects this role you will apply engineering thinking structured problemsolvingand strong collaboration to reduce variation eliminate systemic quality issues and embed sustainable standard work across manufacturing and supportfunctions. This is a handson influencedriven role that works closely withproduction engineering quality and suppliers to deliver longterm qualityimprovements.

YourResponsibilities Will Include:

Leadstandard work projects across production engineering and support departmentworkflows with the goal of improving quality through reduced variation.

Create andmaintain documentation (Standards SOPs Checklists) needed to sustainablysupport standard work related to quality and engineering.

Work withsuppliers engineers to find collaborative solutions to systemic problemswhile responsibly managing impact to cost and lead time.

Leadstructured engineering level root cause investigations into systemic qualityproblems to identify and eliminate defects for both purchased and manufacturedgoods.

Maintain astrong understanding of internal customer expectations and requirements as theyrelate to quality

Developeffective working relationships with shop floor staff to foster trust engagethem and earn buy-in to QA processes.

Engagewith Production and QA Line Support to identify recurring systemic issuesappropriate for long-term improvement projects.

Collaboratewith QA Line Support Production and QA Techs to ensure successful adoption ofproject driven process improvements.

Conductperiodic structured process assessments to gather data for improvementprojects.

Communicatetechnical findings and project outcomes clearly to internal and externalstakeholders.

Were Looking For:

Bachelorof Science in Engineering (Mechanical preferred) or related field

Previousexperience working in a manufacturing environment

Able toapply statistical analysis to evaluate and validate proposed solutions

Strongengineeringbased problemsolving and analytical skills

Ability tolead structured improvement projects across multiple departments

Experiencedeveloping and maintaining process documentation and standard work

Stronginterpersonal skills and the ability to influence without authority

Comfortworking in a manufacturing environment and engaging directly with shop floorteams
