We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Principal Enterprise Architect to lead the design governance and evolution of enterprise-wide technology architecture in a fully remote environment. This role is responsible for aligning business strategy with technology solutions ensuring scalability security and long-term sustainability across systems platforms and infrastructure.
This position is strictly limited to candidates who currently reside in the United States and are legally authorized to work in the U.S. Applications from individuals residing outside the United States will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities.
Define maintain and govern enterprise architecture frameworks standards and roadmaps
Partner with executive leadership to align IT strategy with business objectives
Lead architecture design across application data integration cloud and infrastructure domains
Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions that support innovation and efficiency
Provide architectural oversight for large-scale complex programs and initiatives
Ensure compliance with security regulatory and data governance requirements
Guide and mentor solution architects domain architects and technical teams
Develop and present executive-level architecture documentation business cases and technology roadmaps
Collaborate with engineering cybersecurity product and operations teams to ensure architectural consistency
Support vendor evaluations technology selection and enterprise platform decisions
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Engineering or a related field; Masters degree preferred
Minimum of 1215 years of progressive experience in IT architecture including enterprise-level design
Demonstrated experience as an Enterprise Architect or Principal Architect in complex environments
Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF Zachman)
Deep understanding of cloud platforms enterprise applications integration patterns and data architecture
Proven ability to influence executive stakeholders and drive architectural governance
Excellent communication leadership and strategic planning skills
Ability to work independently and lead distributed teams in a remote environment
Preferred Qualifications
TOGAF AWS Azure or Google Cloud certifications
Experience with large-scale digital transformation initiatives
Background in regulated industries such as finance healthcare government or telecommunications
Strong understanding of cybersecurity architecture and risk management
Compensation
Annual Salary Range: $165000 $215000 USD commensurate with experience expertise and geographic location
