Job Summary
Inventory & Logistics Specialist (On-Site)
Overview
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory & Logistics Specialist to support on-site material flow across engineering production and launch operations. This role ensures the right parts are in the right place at the right timeby maintaining inventory accuracy organized storage and efficient shipping/receiving. Youll be part of a mission-driven environment helping teams deliver advanced space and launch systems.
What Youll Do
- Execute daily inventory operations: receiving put-away issuing kitting and cycle counting
- Maintain material traceability and accountability in the ERP system
- Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics: supplier receipts shipments to customers test sites and launch locations
- Follow standardized workflows for handling warehousing and shipping/receiving
- Partner cross-functionally with supply chain production and quality to ensure material availability
- Drive improvements that increase efficiency accuracy and reliability in logistics processes
What Were Looking For (Required)
- Experience in inventory control warehousing or logistics
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and standard inventory practices
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Comfortable in a fast-paced hands-on environment
- Clear communication and strong teamwork
Nice to Have
- Background in aerospace defense automotive or advanced manufacturing
- Knowledge of lean/continuous improvement methods
- Familiarity with domestic/international shipping regulations including hazardous materials
