Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Hardware Inventory Coordinator to support the daily planning tracking and management of physical components and server hardware across our production and lab environments. This role plays a key part in ensuring efficient assembly operations accurate inventory control and seamless coordination between engineering production and procurement teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records of hardware components subassemblies and finished servers within internal asset management systems
- Perform data entry and ongoing updates to track assets throughout their lifecyclefrom receipt and assembly to deployment or shipment
- Label and organize all major components assemblies and server units for traceability and inventory control
- Collaborate directly with engineering production and technical teams to support assembly workflows and hardware deployment
- Assist in production planning procurement forecasting and inventory management of components and materials
- Conduct regular cycle counts and full inventory audits; reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and system records
- Support kitting staging and allocation of parts for server builds and customer orders
- Ensure proper handling storage and movement of sensitive hardware components
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word; PowerPoint and Visio are a plus)
- Basic technical understanding of computer hardware components (e.g. servers motherboards storage devices networking equipment)
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Experience with inventory tracking asset management or production coordination preferred
- High attention to detail especially in data entry and documentation accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and support cross-functional teams effectively
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to lift and move items up to 30 lbs
Preferred Experience (Nice to Have):
- Familiarity with server assembly or data center hardware environments
- Experience with inventory or ERP systems
- Exposure to production planning or supply chain operations
Work Environment:
- Combination of warehouse lab and light production floor settings
- Hands-on role involving both physical hardware handling and administrative tracking
