Intern Engineer Substation Operations
Work Location: Butte MT
Pay range: $20.00 - $21.00/hour (first year interns $20.00/hour returning interns $21.00/hour)
Employment Status: Temporary (May - August full-time 40 hours per week)
(September - December part-time up to 20 hours per week)

About this position:
The Intern will work closely with engineers and others with collecting and documenting substation and relay equipment ratings and settings to support Facility Ratings. Will analyze existing data to assist with recommendations for equipment upgrades/replacements. Would also be responsible for learning to utilize Substation applications such as Cascade Powerbase and SEL AcSELerator. There will also be opportunities to get exposure to a variety of work functions within the substation department.

- Support Substation operations with collecting and documenting substation and relay equipment ratings to support Facility Ratings
- Reading substation drawings evaluating System One-Lines
- Analyzing existing relay settings/data and analyzing the Facilities to recommend equipment upgrades/replacements
- Work will include learning to utilize Substation applications such as Cascade Powerbase and SEL AcSELerator
- Will participate in organizational work meetings and work with peer department

- Must be in good academic standing
- Must Provide GPA in Resume upon application
