Our Finance Team are looking for an experienced Group Financial Controller to join them.

TheFinanceteam enables and supports Baringas financial success delivering a great finance service to our various stakeholders. Itprovides the necessary support to ensure our growing business is in control of its financial and commercial performance as well as compliant withrelevant UK and internationalfinance and tax regulations. The team spans Finance OperationsFinancial ControlTax and Commercial Finance.

Additionallywe arenearto completing afinance transformation projectwhich willultimately deliverMicrosoft Dynamics as our new finance system in April 2026.

What you will be doing

Reporting to the CFO and working alongside the wider Finance Leadership Team you willbe responsible forourglobalfinancial control environmentmanagement and financial reporting auditglobal corporatefinancial and tax complianceand managing our banking relationships. You will have a dedicated team oftenprofessionals to lead and motivate.

  • Support the Baringa finance transformation programme in implementing best in class processes financialcontrolsand reporting.
  • Own the groups financialpolicy andcontrols ensuring Baringas financial processes and proceduresoperatewithin a strong control environment and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure Baringa is prepared to meet all regulatory requirements as the organization grows and reachescertainthresholds such as CFD reporting.
  • Be responsible forglobalbusiness tax compliance (e.g. VAT PSA Corporation Tax) with support from the in-houseTax Manager.
  • Be responsible forfacilitatingthe cross-border working of Baringas employees and partnerswith the expansion of Baringas global footprint (including market entries and exits)whilst minimisingrisks of permanent establishmentsassociatedcostsandfinancial risks.
  • Help to ensure Baringas risk appetiteis adhered to and incorporated within Baringas financial processes and procedureswhilst also utilisingknowledge of accounting standards to influencefinancialpolicythat supports Baringas commercial strategy.
  • Be the technical expert across the Finance function advising on best practice and the application of accounting standards across Baringawith particular emphasis on FRS102and the LLP SORP.
  • Manage the statutory financial audits of the LLP and its global subsidiaries leading the relationship with auditors and presenting updates and outcomes to the Finance & Audit Committee
  • Be responsible forBaringas intercompany policy including transfer pricing ensuring our policiesareappropriateand compliantfrom both a commercial and statutory perspective.
  • Be responsible for the production of group monthly management reports including flash utilisation and revenue.
  • Lead the relationship with our global banking partners and review financing decisions.
  • Be responsible fornew bank account openings and new and renewal of guarantee facilities.
  • Develop our treasury functionpoliciesand approach

Your skills and experience

  • Qualified accountant minimum10 years of PQE
  • Strong technical accounting skills and deep knowledge of IFRS / FRS (US GAAP knowledge an advantage) and FRS102
  • Track recordof operating at Financial Controller or similar level within an international business setting; demonstrable experience of leading and motivating teams
  • Experience within the professional services sector would beadvantageous
  • Resilient and committed individual able tooperatein a fast paced and challenging environment
  • Excellent time managementcommunicationand stakeholder engagement skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics desirable due to implementation choice for new Finance system
