The Regional Manager reporting to the Director of Operationsis responsible forleadingand owning theoperational financial and human capitalperformance ofall dental practices within the respective region. The role serves as a key liaison between executive leadership and practice-level teams ensuringconsistent execution of organizational strategies operational excellence workforce management and sustained profitability.The Regional Managersupervises each Practice Manager within their regionwhile partnering closely with Dental Directorsand centralized support teams to drive performance whilemaintaininghigh standardsof patient care compliance and culture.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Is Responsible forthe financial health ofall assigned dentalpractices within the region and drivesall necessaryimprovements based on Key Performance Indicators.
  • Drives financial metricssuch asprofit-and-loss and EBITDAstatementstodevelop and execute profitable growth.
  • Reviews provider and hygiene productionwith RCD and Hygiene Leadership Teamdrives necessary improvements with the clinical teams.
  • Works with the finance teamto forecast andestablishbudgets.
  • Presents monthly financial performanceandstrategicrecommendationsto senior leadership.
  • Monitorsbilling coding and collection processes to maximize reimbursement and cash flow holding practices accountable for optimization.
  • Provide direct oversight and leadership to practice-level teams.
  • Effectively translates strategic goals into actionable manageable and measurable tasks.
  • Holds Practice Managers and Dental Directors accountable for executing plans through regular check-ins and performance feedback.
  • Supports Practice Managers with effective performance management of clinical staff coaching counseling performance reviews employee development plans and correctiveactionsplans as needed.
  • Ensuresadherence to company procedures policies and compliance standards.
  • Fostersstrong engagement andculturethrough consistent leadership and communicationconsistent with company policies and values.
  • Manage schedule to allow for regular field visits (no less than monthly)toeach practice for the purposes of: Meetingwith Dental DirectorsPractice Managers and practice teamsto review practice performanceoperational growth and general officeconcerns/issues.
  • Facilities Management: Takes ownership of facilities-related issues byanticipatingproblems and proactively drivingtimelyresolution regardless of centralized ownership.
  • Communication: Responsible fordisseminatingcompanycommunication and messaging ofinitiativesand all pertinent informationwithallPractice Managersand teams.
  • Timely concise and effective communication.
  • In partnershipwith Human Resources ownsthe following:
  • Identifiespatterns or recurring concerns to implement proactive solutions that improve employee engagement and reduce future issues.
  • Supports leaders and employees by providing guidance on performance conduct and workplace expectations whilemaintainingconfidentiality and professionalism.
  • Establishes andmonitorsannual goals andobjectivesfor employees in the practice.
  • Executes performance reviews andPIPs and IDPs.
  • Acts as a coach forpracticeleadership ensuring high performance outcomes.
  • Manages and executes the onboarding of Practice Managers and all practice staff including clinical staff.
  • In partnershipwith Recruiting owns practice level staffing.
  • Taking action toensurepractices are adequately staffed (openingreqswith all required details interviewing candidates supporting the offer process).
  • Designs and executes workforce planningstrategyto ensuretimelyengagement with staffing.

Qualifications

Education&Experience

  • Bachelors degreeand/or>5years of multi-site operational leadership experience; dental or healthcare industry preferred. Skills & Competencies
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to interpret P&Ls and KPIs.
  • Proventrack recordofleadership coachingcounselingand team development skills.
  • Strongcommunicationand resolution skills.
  • Proventrack recordof experience providingroot-cause analysisand solutionsexecution.
  • Organized data-driven and execution-focused.
  • Soundjudgement discretion and professionalism.

  • Fluency inMicrosoft Office.
