Position Title: Senior D365 Developer
Employment Type: Labour hire contract (approx 6 months with potential to extend)
Location: Canberra or interstate (hybrid working arrangements available)
Hourly Pay Rate: Rates negotiable dependent on skills and experience
Security Clearance / Requirements: Must have ability to obtain/maintain Baseline security clearance
ABOUT THE ROLE
A large Australian Government department is seeking an experienced Senior D365 Developer to join its ICT this role you will be responsible for the development configuration customisation deployment and support of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions including Power Apps Portals (Power Pages). You will work as part of a collaborative multi-disciplinary team delivering modern scalable digital solutions that support high-impact government services.
This role suits a versatile developer with strong hands-on experience across Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement Dataverse Power Platform and Azure integration services operating in an agile delivery environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Contribute across all phases of project delivery including planning analysis design build and testing
Design develop configure customise and maintain Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement solutions
Develop both model-driven and canvas Power Apps and Power Pages solutions
Utilise out-of-the-box Dynamics 365 functionality including Power Automate workflows dashboards SLAs queues and reporting tools
Develop custom components including workflows plug-ins integrations and automation
Conduct data analysis to support entity model design data rules and integration mappings
Build and maintain integrations using Azure services such as Logic Apps Service Bus and Functions
Work closely with testers DevOps teams and project stakeholders to manage sprints resolve defects and meet delivery timeframes
Create and maintain technical design documentation and as-built artefacts
Operate effectively within an agile delivery framework
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Essential
Strong experience with Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE / CRM)
Advanced knowledge of Dataverse configuration including tables forms relationships business rules views and security
Advanced Dataverse customisation experience including:
Plug-ins
Custom workflow activities
JavaScript using Web APIs
FetchXML and Query Expressions
Solid understanding of solution management and ALM concepts
Strong experience with Power Pages (Portals) and Power Automate
Proven experience working with the Azure integration stack including:
Azure Logic Apps
Azure Service Bus
Azure Functions
Azure Data Factory
Azure Key Vault
API Management
Desirable
Experience with data migration and dataflows
SharePoint integration experience
PCF (PowerApps Component Framework) development
Custom D365 plug-in development
Experience using ISV tools such as DocumentCorePack or KingswaySoft
Integration experience with finance systems or geospatial systems
ELIGIBILITY
Australian Citizenship is mandatory
Must have ability to obtain/maintain Baseline security clearance
