Position Summary
The Slot Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Slot Department focusing on team building management and leadership. This role involves daily oversight ensuring efficient operations and utilizing slot analytics to drive performance and guest satisfaction. You will lead a team to ensure compliance and gaming regulations and internal policies while maintaining a seamless and engaging gaming experience.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of the slot department to ensure optimal functionality and guest satisfaction.
Manage and train slot operations staff fostering a collaborative and high-performing team.
Implement strategies to improve efficiency slot machine uptime and overall performance.
Ensure compliance with all gaming regulations and internal policies.
Collaborate with the Director of Gaming on staffing budgeting and operational improvements.
Use slot performance data to identify areas for operational improvement and increased performance.
Cross-departmental collaboration for all property related projects events and initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Business Hospitality or related field (or equivalent experience)
5 years of experience in casino operations with a focus on slot operations.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Proficient in data analysis tools and comfortable with slot analytics (Excel Tableau or similar tools).
Knowledge of slot machine operations player behavior and game performance.
Excellent communication organizational and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with gaming regulations and compliance.
Preferred
Experience with slot systems (Bally IGT Aristocrat)
Experience with slot service systems (i.e. Servizio)
Proven track record in improving operational efficiency and enhancing guest experience.
Advanced degree in Business Administration or related field.
Experience in a high-volume and/or tribal casino environment.
Certificates Licenses Regulations
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Class A/3 gaming license from the Stillaguamish Tribal Gaming Agency and the State of Washington.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Constantly requires the ability to receive detailed information through oral and written communication. The position requires exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Requires repetitive movement with the ability to stand and/or walk for an entire shift. There are no adverse conditions but employee is exposed to tobacco smoke on a regular basis. This is a 24 hour 7 days a week work operation.
