Schedule: 40 hours per week Varies Monday - Friday every other weekend
Must be available to work all shifts as needed:Lunch/dinner shift: 10am-7pm Breakfast shift 5am-1:30pm

What Youll Do in This Role:

Porter Hills Village is a place where great food creates comfort connection and joy. Our team delivers culinary excellence across multiple dining venues including our Main Dining Room Café and The Fairway Grille offering a vibrant and ever-evolving culinary environment.
As a Lead Cook youll play a key role in shaping memorable dining experiences for our residents. Working in our scratch kitchens youll prepare wholesome flavorful meals that nourish both body and spirit. Your creativity leadership and attention to detail will help turn everyday meals into moments our residents look forward to.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of nutritious meals for residents.
- Cater to special dietary requirements and restrictions.
- Ensure all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Inspect and ensure that all side jobs and cleaning duties are performed and completed as scheduled in accordance with established policy and procedures.
- Assist with inventory and stock.
- Assist in food preparation and set up for catering events.
What Youll Need:
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
- Five years of cook experience in a restaurant required.
- Culinary Education preferred
- ServSafe Certification preferred
- Allergan Certificationpreferred
- Ability to participate in frequent stooping and bending lifting up to 35 pounds
