JAG Nebraska Career Data Analyst Summary: The Career Data Analyst plays a dual-impact role supporting youth career counseling services through data-informed decision-making. This positionis responsible forcollecting analyzing and translating participant and program data into actionable insights that improve service delivery outcomes and equity. The analyst partners closely with JAG specialists program leadership datamanagerand external stakeholders to track participant progress measure outcomes build employer connections and ensure compliance with funding and reporting requirements. - Maintain data systems to track youth participation engagement career readiness outcomes credentials placements and post-program outcomes.
- Ensureaccuratetimelydata entry and data quality across multiple platforms.
- Analyze program and participant data toidentifytrends gaps and opportunities for improvement in counseling services and workforce outcomes.
- Report on dashboards and data visualizations for internal teams funders boards and public partners.
- Support grant reporting and performance accountability for local state and federal workforce initiatives.
- Analyze labor trends in Nebraska to create experiences for students that align with the current market.
- Partner with JAG specialists to translate data insights into practical strategies for improving youth engagement persistence and career outcomes.
- Support continuous improvement cycles by evaluating program data effectiveness and recommending evidence-based adjustments.
- Conduct equity-focused analysis to assess access outcomes and barriers for historically underserved youth.
- Collaborate with specialists employers and education partners to align data with program goals.
- Provide data training and technicalassistanceto frontline staff to strengthen data literacy and usage
- Communicate findings clearly to non-technical audiences through presentations and written summaries.
- Create an alumni network tomaintainan ongoing connection to JAG graduates.
- Works in close collaboration with the JAG Data manager to access JAG dashboards raw data and understand other data metrics.
Supervisory Responsibilities: - This position has no supervisory duties.
Required Skills and Abilities: - Required to work 12 months per year.
- Must have a good understanding of philanthropy and the role non-profit organizations play in our community.
- Must enter analyze and verify data reports as applicable for integrityaccuracyand various funding requirements.
- Must have the ability to effectivelyrepresentUWM andJAGNebraska during community and stakeholder meetings.
- Must think strategically to effectively plan organize execute and manage multiple projects toaccomplishgoals.
- Must be highly organized responsiveand beable to handle multiple deliverables at the same time and on short notice.
- Must be able to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing with a variety of individuals within and outside of the school system.
- Mustbe able to make formal and informal presentations.
