Klondike Cheese Co. is searching for a Crumble Sanitation Operator to join our Team!

Job Duties:Examples of duties involved in this type of position includecleaning and sanitizing equipment machinery; and work areas in the facility (the temperature in this location is cooler around 50 degrees) using brushes hoses and chemical cleaning agents to ensure thehighest offood safety standards are met.

Utilize detergents sanitizers brushes and high-pressure hose to clean production equipment and rooms in assigned area.
Measure weigh or mix cleaning solutions using measuring tanks calibrated rods or suction tubes.
Observe machine operations gauges or thermometers and adjust controls to maintain specified conditions.
Set controls to regulate temperature and length of cycles and start conveyors pumps agitators and machines.
Drain clean and refill machines or tanks at designated intervals using cleaning solutions or water.
Perform varying tasks while standing lifting and crouching during long periods of time.
The sanitation worker is required to work in an environment that is wet humid and warm.
Communicate and work effectively with other Sanitation personnel and Supervisor.
Must adhere to Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) and HACCP pre-requisite programs Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) Sanitation Standard Operating Procedure (SSOP) guidelines or Federal regulations.
Frequently lift/move hoses and related equipment throughout every work shift.
Exposure to and use of chemical cleaning solutions (with protective gear).
Assist in the operation of production lines as needed including operating or tending machines.
Other related additional duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager which may include assisting with packaging duties.

Shift:10:00 pm-6:00 am - until done (typically8-9 hourshift) Monday-Friday plus every other Saturday 9:00 pm until done.

Pay Rate:$19.00 per hour with anadditional$3.00 3rd shift premium will pay more for experienced workers!

Qualifications

Requirements:

Cheese/food industry experience is preferred but notrequired.

Must be willing to work overtime as needed.

A good attendance record isrequired.

Candidatemust be a team player.

Employeesare required tostand the duration of the shift with frequent and repetitive bending stooping turning reachinggraspingandlifting upto 50 pounds.
