About the role

This is a casual customer-focused opportunity ideal for someone who enjoys making a positive contribution to community health. Youll bring strong communication organisation and data-entry skills and enjoy providing front-line customer service at Merri-bek City Council community school and corporate immunisation sessions.

Working as part of a friendly and professional team your responsibilities will include:

  • Accurate and timely data entry of vaccinations provided to clients
  • Assisting with the set-up pack-down and general logistics of immunisation clinics
  • Supporting and advising the Immunisation Nurse in Charge on any matters requiring attention
  • Providing an accurate and accountable receipt service for session payments
  • Undertaking other duties aligned with your skills training and experience
  • Contributing ideas to help improve service delivery and client experience

This role suits someone looking for casual session-based work across different locations within our municipality.

Skills and experience required to perform the role

  • Current drivers licence
  • Current Employee Working with Children Check
  • Willingness to undergo a police records check and physical OH&S assessment
  • Warm and professional manner
  • Well developed computer and software skills
  • Previous experience in Local Government immunisation programs is highly regarded but not essential
