Job Summary
Long Term Sub Physical Education / Health TeacherResponsibilities and Duties:* Prepare for the delivery of appropriate Physical Education and Health Education instruction following prescribed state mandated PE/Health standards.* Deliver organized instruction sequentially following program outlines and accepted pedagogical methods and techniques as appropriate to student learning styles and abilities.* Use methods of instruction that are welcoming motivating and supporting.* Create an environment that is conducive to learning.* Utilize modern technologies and instructional and research tools.* Attend curriculum development meetings if applicable.* Participate in activities that promote the best interest of our students and our school.* Engage in professional development programs to keep current with modern pedagogy.* Maintain decorum and control of assigned students for the purposes of enhancing learning and insuring a safe and healthful environment in the classroom and throughout the school.
