JOB SUMMARY

The Marketing and Communications Manager is part of an important team that creates and executes property-level communications to our customers. Under the leadership of the Director of Sales & Marketing this role promotes on-brand messaging to customers through traditional digital and social media channels all with the goal of enhancing the image of the hotel. This role helps build direct marketing plans targeted campaigns and activated channels to the end of driving consumer awareness and preference increasing market share and building broader portfolio and brand awareness. As part of the Marketing and Communication team this role is fully connected into resources in their region; Marketing and Communication Managers liaise and build deep partnerships with their regional Area Field Marketing teams to verify all local social and digital marketing efforts are effectively integrated with the selling efforts for the organization. Success is measured by how well they help drive the sales and revenue strategy of the property social media engagement and also by how effectively leveraged the resources around them are to create truly compelling marketing and communications campaigns.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Required:

  • Strong understanding of integrated marketing communications across digital print PR and on-property channels
  • Proven experience in social media management (content planning posting community engagement performance tracking across platforms such as Instagram and linked in)
  • Ability to develop and execute content strategies aligned with brand positioning and commercial objectives
  • Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills especially for hospitality lifestyle and travel audiences
  • Experience managing photo/video shoots and coordinating creative assets
  • Knowledge of digital marketing fundamentals
  • Strong analytical skill s to track KPIs prepare reports and optimize campaigns based on performance
  • Experience working with media influencers and PR agencies
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Sales Operations and Corporate teams
  • Strong project management skills with attention to detail and deadlines
  • Creative mindset with strong brand sensitivity
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken)
