Warehouse Operator Unionized

The Warehouse (Warehouse Operator) classification as outlined in the Union Agreement includes the following responsibilities and expectations:

Responsibilities:

Shipping and Receiving:

Handles all merchandise entering and leaving the facility.

Ensures accuracy and proper handling during shipping and receiving processes.

Inventory Management:

Places finished products and raw materials in designated inventory locations.

Maintainsaccuratedaily inventory records.

Loading and Unloading:

Manages the loading and unloading of delivery trucks.

Ensures safe and efficient transfer of materials to and from trucks.

Collaboration:

Assistsand supports other employees in their tasks when.

Production Support:

May be assigned to production work occasionally or when needed.

Additional Duties:

Carries out any other tasks as directed by their immediate supervisor including tasks from lower classifications if necessary.

General Notes:

Material Handlers play a key role inmaintainingthe flow of materials and products ensuring smooth warehouse operations.
