Location: Madison WI (projects primarily within 2 hours of Madison)
Salary Range: $40$45/hr
Schedule: Full-time MondayFriday 7a-4p OT as needed
Weekly Hours: 40 hours/week

Position Overview
This is a Direct Hire Opportunity. As a Framing Foreman you will lead and supervise framing crews of 610 carpenters on commercial construction projects including apartments hotels retail and light commercial spaces. This hands-on leadership role requires overseeing daily operations performing framing work when needed maintaining quality and safety standards and coordinating with Project Managers Superintendents and subcontractors. You will also assist with some superintendent responsibilities such as scheduling material coordination and problem-solving on-site.
Key Responsibilities
Lead supervise and train framing crews to complete structural framing tasks on commercial projects.
Read interpret and execute work according to blueprints plans and specifications.
Perform hands-on framing when necessary including measuring cutting and assembling structural components.
Collaborate with Project Managers Superintendents and other trades to ensure project schedules and quality standards are met.
Enforce safety protocols (including OSHA standards) and maintain organized clean job sites.
Coordinate material tools and equipment staging and communicate effectively across trades.
Delegate mentor and develop crew members to improve productivity and skill sets.
Provide daily updates and progress reports to management.
Address on-site issues and propose solutions to maintain schedule quality and budget integrity.
Qualifications
3 years of framing foreman experience including structural framing on commercial or multi-family projects; foreman/leadership experience preferred.
Proficient in reading blueprints plans and construction documents.
Strong leadership communication and organizational skills.
Solid understanding of safety practices and ability to enforce them consistently on site.
Physical ability to perform framing work and lift heavy materials.
Valid drivers license.
Preferred Skills / Certifications:
OSHA-10 or OSHA-30 certification (or willingness to obtain).
Experience in hospitality multi-family or light commercial construction.
