WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Slate is looking for aMedia Community and Government RelationsManagerwith a visionary out of the boxapproach tobe the voice of Slate in our manufacturing headquartersofWarsaw Indiana.Youwill play a critical role in helping toinformstate andlocal media about Slateengage thecommunity andsupport workwithgovernment officials.Youwill report to the Heads ofGovernment Affairs and PublicRelationsand Communications.
WHAT YOU GET TO DO
Be the voice of Slate in the community.
Serve as Slate spokesperson in the community and organize local events for mediaandcommunity and government officials.
Serve aspointof collaboration with city county and state representatives.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
7 years ofcommunicationsgovernment relations and/or marketingexperience with a proventrack recordofcommunity engagement.
Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills with the ability to translate insights into actionable plans.
Experience working within cross-functional teams and guiding projects through various departments including creative social and growth
