Position Summary
This position is a key support position for the operations team. Reporting to local leadership the LM Specialist will manage assigned equipment facility and Fleet process and/or tasks to assist the location operation.
Job Responsibilities
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with RESA Power locations vendors and be trusted advisor for assigned team.
- Document log and report on procurement activities. Develop methods to decrease cost and improve efficiency of the cost of goods.
- Approve purchase orders and ensure the timely delivery of goods and services as directed.
- Provide day-to-day support to location on procurement needs. Research and chalk out potential vendors and suppliers for purchase and material management based on quality pricing and services.. Negotiate local contracts with vendors during procurement and management of goods and services.
- Track update and maintain inventory as needed.
- Responsible for warehouse tasks as assigned including shipping and receiving warehouse helper (putting away equipment and/or gathering equipment for job(s) as per scope general warehouse maintenance and housekeeping.
- Maintain tools and equipment in facility.
- Ensure efficient management of rental equipment by ordering tracking ensure equipment returned.
- Support the EHS team on all safety requirements. Ensure location has all safety equipment needed and in working order (i.e. gloves glasses suites etc.)
- Support Fleet and local fleet tasks as directed. Maintain proper procedures work instructions and communications with drivers and sites.
- Provide reports to site leadership on KPIs such as budgeting maintenance utilization and procurement progress.
- Support local and federal procurement processes.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in related field or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years of related experience.
- Experience in a warehouse environment desired.
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Able to develop and interpret data to make sound decisions; Proven continuous improvement experience.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Excellent business partnering and interpersonal skills. Able to establish rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds and experience.
- Demonstrated advanced proficiency in MS Office applications. Experience using maintaining upgrading and reporting from a system required.
- High degree of attention to detail. Strong project management skills.
- Valid Drivers license to work with Fleet vehicles (drive to Customer maintenance etc. as business need dictate3s).
