Essential Responsibilities:
- Technical interface management of the design process for use in procurement & construction
- Management of procurement and installation contracts required for rail systems
- Liaising with the client and other key stakeholders
- Management of a team of coordination staff in delivering all phases of the rail systems installation
- Creating and leading meetings as required to coordinate technical commercial and administrative tasks
- Systems Engineering management Change Management and T&C management
- Familiarization and usage of project data management systems
Qualifications:
- Background in urban passenger rail construction required - 3 years in rail and 5-10 years experience in commercial or industrial construction with systems related experience.
- Specific experience with Traction Power Systems Communications and SCADA Systems Signaling Systems Overhead Catenary System and other Wayside Systems preferred
- Experience with construction procurement required
- Experience with Systems Engineering and Rail Systems Assurance is required
- Bachelors degree or college diploma related to engineering technology or computer science or sufficient work experience in a related field is a requirement
- P. Eng or PMP certification is considered an asset in this role
