Job Summary

What Youll Be Doing
Under the supervision of the Manager of Philanthropy & Stewardship you will be responsible for securing and stewarding public and private institutional funding including state federal and foundation grants. The Institutional Giving & Partnerships Officer manages the full grants lifecycle from prospecting and proposal development through reporting and compliance and serves as a key liaison to funding partners.

Hybrid Role 20% Remote Work.

Your Main Priorities
While additional responsibilities are likely to arise on the job you will primarily:
Grants Strategy & Management
Develop and manage an annual grants calendar and pipeline.
Research prioritize and pursue funding opportunities aligned with organizational priorities.
Write and submit clear compelling grants proposals and narratives.

Reporting & Compliance
Manage grant reporting compliance and renewal requirements.
Coordinate with program and the Finance Team to collect outcomes data and budgets.
Track grant deliverables and deadlines to ensure compliance.

Funder Relationships
Support cultivation and stewardship of relationships with government agencies and foundation partners.
Coordinate site visits reports and funder communications.

Skills & Abilities
Bachelors degree in marketing or related field required.
3-5 years of experience in institutional giving or grants management required.
Experience with public funding and compliance requirements preferred.
Must have ability to collaborate across departments and manage multiple deadlines.
Familiarity with nonprofit or human services organizations preferred.
Strong organizational critical thinking and time-management skills.
Computer and database management skills required; knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.
Ability to communicate and effectively interact with a diverse population.
Collaboration and teamwork.
The ideal candidate will be required to meet all background checks and medical clearances required for the position.

Physical Requirements
Operational staff:
This position involves work in an office setting. Tasks include operating a computer for extended periods communicating with colleagues and occasional lifting of office/department materials up to 25lbs. The role also requires the ability to sit for extended periods bending reaching hearing and vision.
