The Advanced Analytics and AI team is the central hub of data science and AIexpertisewithinCIBC andis leading the way to apply the best practices in predictive science machine learning artificial intelligence andleveragethe latest in big data technology platforms.We also engage with the leading academic & research institutes in the space of AI and machine learning to promote the exchange of latest technology developments and enrich our talents.As a Data Analyst Co-op on this team you will supportstrategic initiatives recommending and delivering complex advanced models and AI solutions to support their goals.

HowYoullSucceed

Support theresponsible and ethical use of AI for solving business problems-Work with business units to understand their AI Governance needs opportunities and pain points.Assistrisk and control teams to ensureAI relatedrisks are adequately managed.Assistinthe development of AI risk managementtrainingand related educational resources both within the organization and externally.

Support in managing and deliveringAI Solutions in a governed manner-Work with AI development technology and risk/control/compliance teams in identifying assessing and mitigating AI-related risks in accordance with AI risk management best practicestools and techniques to comply with governance requirements and accelerate CIBCs leadership in ethical and responsible use of AI.

Translate research to insights andsupport thedecision makingprocess-Monitor research and report on the latest trends and developments around AI risk management. Help ensure that all AI risk management processes tools and techniques are inclusive of the requirements necessary to meet the growing demands and advancements in AI by suggesting and making changes to the current state.

Who You Are

You candemonstratean interestin developing assessing and evaluating AI solutions. Knowledge of Predictive Modelling Machine Learning NLP Computer Vision and other AI disciplinesis preferred. You arestudyingData Science with knowledge in Linear Algebra Probability and Statistics Computer Science and/or Engineering.

You haveknowledge orexperiencein developing and deploying AI or Machine Learning solutions using Python SAS or Rwithcoding skills in SQL. Familiarity withTableauwould be an asset.

You are passionateabout the responsible and ethical use of AI tobenefitsociety. You enjoy conducting research developing processes and guidance and educating others on this important topic.

You can be clearly understood.You havevery strongcommunication and presentation skills with a demonstrated ability to clearly and concisely present information to groups and individuals at all levels in the organization.
