ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The listed functions are illustrative only and are not intended to describe every function that may be performed in the job level.

Regulatory Oversight: Ensure compliance with state regulations and oversee the permitting processes for drilling and production operations.
Technical Analysis: Conduct technical reviews and provide recommendations on drilling production and well integrity issues.
Data Management: Analyze and manage data related to well performance reservoir management and production optimization.
Collaboration: Work closely with operators field inspectors and other stakeholders to address and resolve technical and regulatory issues.
Policy Development: Participate in the development and implementation of policies aimed at improving industry standards and practices.

Qualifications

PREFERENCES:

Educational Background: Bachelors degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related field.

Experience: 0-5 years of progressive experience in the oil and gas industry with a strong understanding of regulatory and technical aspects.

Skills:Proficiency in data analysis technical reporting and project management.

Attributes: Strong analytical skills attention to detail and excellent communication and collaboration abilities..

KNOWLEDGE:

Knowledge of several technical fields pertinent to the agency.
Knowledge of the principles of scientific measurement and experiment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

Bachelors Degree (typically in The Sciences)

Experience:

1-3 years of progressive work (typically in The Sciences) with acquired knowledge at the level of a Natural Resources Principal

Education & ExperienceSubstitution:

4-7 years of progressive work experience (typically in The Sciences) with acquired knowledge at the levelof aNatural Resources Principal
