Job title:

FCTG Airhub - Air Support Expert

Purpose:

This role will support all FCTG businesses. The role requires offering an unbeatable and consistent customer service experience ensuring use of the best available routings fares and savings with every booking as you are the expert in everything Air.

1. Support
   • Follow the Brands one best way practice
   • Build and manage a client base through various channels (Emails TINs Queues)

• • Review and offer flight alternatives that provide savings to both FCTG and the client (monetary and time/routing)
  • Ensure all tickets issued are with the best route and fare available
  • Work closely with the FBI Pricing & Air teams

1. Product Expertise -
   • In depth knowledge on Air Sales through GDS and EGlobal
   • In depth knowledge of your Customers needs
   • Continuous self-development on preferred product
   • Assist or deliver Air training where required to drive a profitable Brand
   • Adaptable and versatile thinker problem solver

1. Systems Processes and Duties -
   • Become an expert on all systems including but not limited to: Amadeus Quicktrav Eglobal Protas Excel and e-mail
   • Follow one best way blueprint to mitigate risk and adhere to all financial minimum protocols
   • Continuous development on all platforms (self and through the business)
   • Identify New Opportunities through an in-depth understanding of the business and analysing the sales data

Hierarchy:

Reports to Air Pricing & Distribution Leader

Key communication and relationships:

Internal: Create and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders including but not limited to Pricing FBI Consultants Leadership and Global Counterparts

External: Create and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders including but not limited to Amadeus Eglobal

Job Requirements

Education and qualification:

Minimum requirements

Added advantage

Fares and Ticketing / Travel diploma

Further Tertiary qualification

Experience:

• SA citizen/Relevant working visa
• 4 years minimum experience in air fares sales and ticketing
• Travel experience advantageous
• Proven track record
