Position Overview
Seeking an experienced Echo Technician / Cardiac Sonographer to support an outpatient cardiology clinic. The clinician will perform comprehensive adult echocardiography studies and may float to nearby facilities within scope of practice to meet operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
Perform adult transthoracic echocardiograms including advanced diagnostic imaging
Conduct and interpret:
2D and 3D Echocardiography
Color Doppler
M-Mode
Bubble Studies
Imaging with contrast agents
Right Ventricular Inflow/Outflow Tract (RVIT/RVOT) studies
Routine and Treadmill Stress Echocardiograms
Accurately document exams and findings using Epic (Excellian)
Maintain compliance with clinical protocols and quality standards
Collaborate with cardiologists and clinic staff to ensure efficient patient flow
Float to other clinic locations as needed within scope
Required Experience
Minimum 2 years of recent Adult Echo experience
Experience with advanced echo techniques listed above
Epic EMR experience required
Certifications & Licensure
Required:
ARDMS
BLS
Pending Licenses: Accepted
Scheduling & Assignment Details
No weekend requirements
No on-call requirements
Locals accepted
First-time travelers accepted
RTO: Ideally no more than 5 days
Client may cancel up to 3 shifts during the contract without penalty
