JOB SUMMARY
Serves as the supervisory lead for the Vendor Management team. This role balances high-level vendor relationship management with the daily supervision training and workload management of the Coordinator team (Levels I & II).
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Team Supervision:Directly supervise Level I and II Coordinators assigning daily tasks and monitoring workload balance to ensure efficiency.
- Training & Development:Lead the onboarding of new hires and provide ongoing coaching and training to the coordinator team.
- Performance Management:Assist the Manager in writing performance reviews and setting goals for the team; address performance issues as they arise.
- Escalation Point:Serve as the primary point of escalation for the team when they cannot resolve a vendor issue or compliance hurdle.
- Reporting:Compile weekly team productivity reports for the Manager.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Leadership:Foster a collaborative team environment and ensure the team meets all Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for onboarding.
- Quality Control:Review the work of junior staff to ensure data accuracy and compliance standards are met.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience:68 years of experience in vendor management with at least 1 year of team lead or supervisory experience.
- Education:Bachelors degree required.
- Skills:Strong leadership capabilities ability to delegate effectively and experience managing team performance.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience:Experience managing remote or distributed teams.
- Software:Proficiency in HRIS or Performance Management software.
WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Office-based work with prolonged computer use; standard office environment.
